Lifelong Marion Resident Dies At Home February 15
Mrs. Ethel V. Gorsuch, a lifelong resident of Marion, passed away Wednesday evening, February 15, at her home 321 Tenth St., followoing a brief illness.
Born Ethel Vera Adee, at Marion on November 28, 1886 she was married on December 14, 1904 to Ezekiel W. Gorsuch. Mr. Gorsuch passed away on June 17, 1931. Mrs. Gorsuch was a member of the Marion Christian church. She was a Past Noble Grand of Grove City Rebekah Lodge No. 35 and a member of the Colfax Circle.
Surviving are five daughters: Mrs. R.L. (Ruth) Cook, New Lennox, Ill., Mrs. Howard (Virginia) Stark, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Lloyd (Edith) McDonald and Mrs. Clyde (Norma) Fuller, Clinton, and Mrs. Ben (Helen) Wagener, Dubuque; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and two brothers, Norman S. Adee, Marion, and Harry Adee, Los Angeles, Calif.
Memorial services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, February 19, at the Murdoch chapel by the Rev. Roy P. Fields, Jr., Grove City Rebekah Lodge No. 35. Interment was in Oak Shade cemetery.
