Mrs. Marion C. Moorman, 48, a former resident of Mt. Vernon Washington, passed away Wednesday April 15 in an Aurora, Ill. hospital. Mrs. Moorman had been residing with a son in Aurora. On APril 14, 1916, she was born the daughter of William and Emma Reber Barth, former Marion residents. She was married to O.V. Moorman who passed away in 1963.
Surviving are two sons, George Smith of Aurora and PFC William Smith of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. John (Eleanor) Roberts of Perry, Ia. and Sarah Smith of Ventura, Ia.; and one brother, George Barth of Grand Island, Neb.
Services were 3 p.m. Firday at the Healy Chapel in Aurora, Ill. Graveside services were 10 a.m. Monday, April 20 at Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion, by Rev. William F. Hilker. Murdoch Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
