Viola J. Silker, 88, Dies, Services Set
Viola J. Silker, 88, a former Marion resident, died Friday at Stillwater, Okla., where she lived for several years. She was born June 8, 1885 at Manchester, Iowa. She was married to Harley C. Silker who died in 1949. Mrs. Silker was a charger member of the United Methodist church WSCS.
Surviving are three sons, Kenneth Silker, of Marion; Ted Silker, of Stillwater, Okla., and Harold Silker of Oakland, Calif.; ten grandchildren; severeal great-great-grandchildren.
Services wlil be at 11 Monday at the Murdoch chapel in Marion by the Rev. Glen Lamb. Burial in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Sunday, at the chapel.
