Thomas C. Scott, 76, a life-long resident of Linn county, died Sunday morning in a Cedar Rapids hospital.
Born Aug. 17, 1883, on a farm south of Marion, Mr. Scott farmed in that area for some time. He was unmarried. He was a member of the Martins Creek Methodist church. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lila Ives of Marion, and three brothers, Jesse Y., Cedar Rapids, Lester, Marion and Gerald Scott, Mt. Vernon.
Services: Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Murdoch chapel, Marion, by the Rev. Ralph E. Baker. Burial: Oak Shade cemetery, Marion. Friends may call at the chapel.
