Mrs. Campbell Services Friday
Mrs. Welden S. Cambell, 67, died at 5 p.m. Tuesday at her home 929 14th st. after a long illness.
She was born Sarah Adelaide Reichard, the daughter of Benjamin and Maria Louise Jones Reichard, at Marion on Sept. 4, 1882. Her entire life was spent in Marion. She was married on April 5, 1912 to Mr. Campbell and he died on Dec. 1, 1948. Their only son William R. Campbell died in the South Pacific during World War II.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of the First Methodist church of Marion; Chapter CS of P.E.O; The Gold Star Mothers and the Ameigo club. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary R. Lleuellen of Lincoln, Neb. A brother, George B. Reichard and a sister, Mrs. Charlotte R. Halloway[sic] preceeded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Yocom-Murdoch Chapel at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. James P. Galbe and burial will be in the family lot in Oak Shade cemetery.
