Funeral Services Are Held for Mrs. Charlotte Holloway
-----------------------------------------------------
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 at the Yocom chapel for Mrs. Charlotte R. Holloway, whose death occurred Tuesday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Weldon Campbell, 929 Fourteenth street, after a long period of illness.
Charlotte Reichard, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.R> Reichard, was born in Marion August 7, 1874, and her early life was spent here. She maintained her membership and interest in the Ameigo club all through the years. She was married to Harvey J. Hollowy, April 25, 1911. Her husband died in 1921.
Mrs. Holloway was a lovely character with a host of friends. She was very devoted to the church and its work. An earnest Christian, she joined the Methodist church early in life. After six years residence in Ames, she retired because of ill health from the millinery business in which she was engaged. For seven years she was lovingly cared for by her sister, Mrs. Irvin Lleuellen, at her home in Lincoln, Nebr. For the past several months Mrs. Holloway has been in the home of her sister, Mrs. Campbell, who has been most devoted to her care.
Beside the two sisters, Mrs. Lleuellen and Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. Holloway is survived by a brother, George B. Reichard of this city, a niece Mrs. Ellwyn Miller of Lake City, and a nephew, Billy Campbell of Marion; also two step-sons, H.E. Holloway of Hammond, Ind., and Paul Holloway of Mill Valley, Calif.
The Rev. Edward T. Gough, pastor of the Methodist chruch, will conduct the services this afternoon and interment will be made in Oak Shade cemetery.
