Mrs. Lou Gill Dies; Rites in Springville
Mrs. Lou Gill, formerly of Springville and who had made her home with her niece, Mrs. Frances Boyd, 1395 Fifth avenue, Marion, died Sunday at 7 p.m. at Oakdale after a lingering illness.
Born at Springville Nov. 12, 1870, she was married in 1910 to Frank Gill, who died more than 20 years ago. She was a member of the Springville Presbyterian church.
Surviving are two brothers, R.E. Pherrin of Orlando, Fla., and Charles Pherrin of Seattle; a niece, Mrs. Clair Carnahan, Springville, and the following stepchildren: Mrs. Frank Gibson, Marion; Ed Gill, Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Floyd Roberts, Springville.
Services will be held at the Presbyterian church in Springville Wednesday at 2 p.m. and burial will be in the cemetery there. Friends may call at the Hunte funeral home.
