Obituary of Mrs. Jennie Finley.
Jennie Gill Finley was born in Marion, Iowa, on the 24th of September, 1870, and lived here all her life except the last three years, during which she resided in Cedar Rapids. In 1889 she was united in marriage to Mr. Thomas Finley and to this union one daughter was born.
She was a member of the Christian church of Marion, having united with the church in early life. After a few years of failing health and some months of serious sickness she fell asleep to this world on the morning of May 19, 1913, after a life of 42 years, 5 months and 27 days. She leaves to mourn her departure her daughter Cora, to whom she was a kind and faithful mother, also her mother, Mrs. J.A. Gill and a sister, Mrs. Henry Farren, both of Chicago, two brothers, Chas. Gill of Deerlodge, Mont., and Frank Gill of Springville, Iowa, besides other relatives and friends.
