Miles Carsner is Dead.
Miles P. Carsner of this city died at St. Lukes's hospital early the morning following an operation which was performed this week with only a faint hope of saving his life. Mr. Carsner was a native of Ohio and was sixty-two years of age. He has lived in or near Marion nearly all of his life. The funeral is to be held at the home, 539 Ninth avenue, Saturday afternoon at two o'clock. The Rev. Ernest A. Seymour, pastor of the Baptist church, will conduct the services and the interment will be in Oak Shade cemetery.
Mr. Carsner is survived by his wife, two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Charles Billis, Kit Carson, Colorado; Mrs. Addison Jordan, Robins and Mr. Charles Carsner of Cedar Rapids; and by one daughter and two sons; Mrs. William Wing of Sioux City; Carl Carsner of North Yakima, Washington, and Clyde Carsner of Marion. Mrs. Wing is here now.
