Mrs. J.E. Sleight. Died, at her residence in Marion, May 24, 1892, at 10 a.m., Mrs. J.E. Sleight,
The deceased was born in Morrow county, Ohio, Sept. 14, 1849. Came to Iowa in the fall of 1853. Her maiden name was Sarah Wiggins and was married to Mr. Sleight Nov. 4, 1872.
She leaves two daughters, Edna and Clara, besides her husband.
Funeral services were held a the M.E. church in this city, conducted by the pastor, Dr. E.L. Miller, and was attended by a large circle of sympathising {sic} friends, the interment taking place at Shiloh cemetery, a large concourse following the remains to their last resting place.
