LeRoy Phillips, 53, of 1818 B avenue NE, and a Cedar Rapids resident five years, died in Iowa City Thursday following a brief illness.
Born Jan. 2, 1917, in Wilmington, Del., he had lived in Johnson county before moving to Cedar Rapids.
Surviving are his mother, Mary Johnson, and a stepsister, Pearl Graham, both of Wilmington, and two stepbrothers, Richard Johnson of Davenport and Frank Parvis in Florida.
Services: Graveside in Shiloh cemetery, Hiawatha, at 11 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Lawrence Chamberlain of Kenwood Park Presybterian church. Beatty-Beurle's in charge of arrangements.
