Eva Carter, the young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F.N. Carter of No. 173 Sixth avenue, whose dangerous illness from diptheria was noted in Wednesday's issue, died at half past four o'clock of that afternoon. The funeral was held yesterday morning from the residence and was private. Rev. Levi Marshall officiated.
