Services Held Here Saturday for Infant
Clifford Rhea Oxley, the seven-months-old son of Staff Sgt. Charles R. Oxley and Mary Elizabeth Doyle Oxley, died Thursday March 29, at 8:30 a.m., in a Cedar Rapids hospital.
The child was born August 23, 1944, and besides his parents, is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David R. Doyle and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence R. Oxley, and by his great-grandfather, Charles Stout, all of Marion.
The father is in the air corps, stationed at Wendover Field, Utah.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday from the Yocom chapel, with the Rev. T. J. McElliott, of St. Joseph's Catholic church, in charge. Burial was made in Oak Shade cemetery.
