At 9 o'clock Sunday morning occurred the death of Mrs. Cynthia Ann Groll, wife of George Groll of Marion, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Viola Finka, near Louisa. Death came suddenly and unexpectedly, the deceased being stricken with apoplexy. The funeral will be held at the Shiloh church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Levi Stauffacher officiating. Interment at the Shiloh cemetery.
The deceased was born in Ohio in 1828, removing west with her parents when a small child. She is survived by the husband, who was nearly a half century has been a prominent citizen of the county, and one daughter, Mrs. Finka. She also leaves a brother and a sister, Sylvester Mills, residing east of Marion, and Mrs. Maggie Coleman of Marion. Mrs. Groll was a faithful member of the Evangelical church of Buffalo, and in a wide cirle of friends was beloved for her many excellent attributes of character.
