Blossom Scott, 93, formerly of Marion, died Wednesday afternoon in a nursing home at Keystone following a long illness.
Born Nov. 30, 1895, at Fairfax, she married Harry Scott Feb. 4, 1932. He died in 1968. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, Atkins.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane Scheer of Atkins; a stepdaughter, Doris Sundermeyer of Marion; a stepson, Wayne of Marion; a sister, Ruth Kolsto of Tempe, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. Saturday, Murdoch-Linwood Chapel, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Robert Spurgin of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, Atkins. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel....
