Harry Bentley Scott, rural Palo farmer, died at his home Saturday following a sudden illness. Born Oct. 26, 1893, at Marion, he was married to Blossom McClelland Feb. 4, 1932 at Rock Island.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Doris I. Baird of Cedar Rapids and Jane Ann Scheer of Blairstown; one son, Kenneth, of Marion; a sister, Bertha S. Miller, Marion; one brother, Donald of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; and ten grandchildren.
Scott was a member of the Presbyterian church at Atkins.
Services: Turner's east at 1:30, Tuesday by the Rev. Paul K.H. Figge. Burial: Oak Shade at Marion. Friends may call at the chapel after 1 p.m. today until 1, Tuesday. The casket will not be opened after the service.
