Pearl Dies, 86, a resident of Cedar Rapids for the past 33 years, passed away at 12:55 P.M. Thursday April 25, 1963 in a Cedar Rapids Nursing Home. She was born on October 21, 1876 at Somanauk [sic], Ill. She was married to James Dies who passed away in May 1937 at Cedar Rapids.
Services were 3:30 P.M. Saturday, April 27, 1963 at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion, Iowa, conducted by Rev. Ralph E. Baker. Burial was in Cedar Memorial Park.
