Mrs. Sarah Scott Ford, daughter of Henry and Hulda Morris Wiggens [sic] was born July 19, 1869 at Chalk Hill, Penn., and died Tuesday evening, April 9.
She was married January 30, 1889 to Henry Allen Scott and came to live on a farm five miles northeast of Marion.
They moved to Marion in Dec. 1918 and on Sept. 22, 1919 Mr. Scott died from a heart attack.
She was married on Feb. 27, 1924 to Elias Ford who passed away May 27, 1928.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian church, and Marion Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. A.E. (Bertha) Miller of Marion, and two sons, Harry Scott of Atkins and Donald Scott of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; six grandchildren. One granddaughter Doris Scott Baird made her home with her grandmother for many years.
Services were Thursday, April 11 at 2 at Baxter's Memorial Chapel by Rev. J.P. Hauter. Interment was in Oak Shade Cemetery....
