Bertha Scott Miller, 89, a longtime resident of Marion before moving to Frederick, Okla., in 1974, died Saturday in a Frederick hospital following a long illness.
Born Feb. 8, 1891, in Linn County, she was married to Augustine "Gus" E. Miller Sept. 6, 1911. Mr. Miller died in 1968. Mrs. Miller was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Marion and Marion Chapter No. 183 of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include one son, Hal S. Miller, Frederick, Olka.; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Murdoch Chapel, Marion, by the Rev. Jay A. Miller. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery....
