Mrs. M.M. Oakley, who has been seriously ill for some days, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alice E. Sisson, at an early hour this morning. Mrs. Oakley had been a citizen of Marion for nearly half a century and her death is deplored by a large circle of friends. Mr. Oakley died a number of years ago and they are survived by two children, Geo. N. Oakley of Chicago, and Mrs. Alvin Sisson, of this city. The funeral will probably be held Saturday afternoon. Full announcements will be made later.
