The funeral of the late W.J. Greer was held Friday at the Yocom chapel, in charge of Rev. E.T. Gough, pastor of the M.E. church, and burial was in Oak Shade cemetery. Among those from out of town, including near relatives were: Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Irvine and daughter of Birmingham, Mrs. Charles MacComber and Louis Willis of Cascade, Miss Margaret Greer of Monticello, Mr. and Mrs. C.K. Greer of Monticello, Mr. and Mrs. James Greer of Ames, Sheld Greer of Houston, Tex., R.J. Greer of Charlotte, Mich., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mehaffey and family of North Liberty. The pallbearers were A.E. Blinks, J.T. Raymond, George Burns and Howard Moothart.
