Services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 4, at the Murdoch chapel for Harry H. Newell, 80, a retired Marion farmer who passed away early Thursday morning at his home in Emery Park, Arizona.
Mr. Newell farmed for many years on a farm 5 1/2 miles north of Marion on Tenth street. He retired 29 years ago and moved to Arizona with his wife the former Sarah Hickman who passed away at Tucson on April 12, 1938. Mr. Newell was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are a brother, Earl Newell and a sister, Mrs. Mary Miles, both of Emery Park, Ariz. A nephew, Clarence Newell, accompanied the remains to Marion. Interment was in Oak Shade cemetery.
