W.H. JOHNSON DIES AT AGE EIGHTY-FOUR

Cedar Rapids Man Had Lived In This County For Sixty-Five Years.
The funeral of W.H. Johnson who died at his residence, 1845 Seventh avenue, Wednesday, will be held Friday afternoon from the home, the Rev. James Lee of Cedar Rapids, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was born in Fisherville, N.H., March 14, 1837, and died May 15, 1918, at the age of 84 years. His death was due to a storke of paralysis. He was married at the age of twenty-four years to Clariss Church and to this union nine children were born. The surviving children are Mrs. Ida Kemp, Mrs. Ella Exline, Mrs. J.A. Byers, Mrs. C.N. Malcolm of Marion, Mrs Clara Patterson from Boise, Ida.; W.C. Johnson, Mason City; Mrs. C.D. Seeley, Cedar Rapids, and J.C. Johnson, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. O.S. Morrow, Ottumwa.
Mr. Johnson had lived in Linn county for sixty-five years and had been engaged in the grain and stock buying.
