Mrs. Frank Snyder, 70, mother of Mrs. Harold Howe, of Marion, died at her home in Anamosa Friday after several months of failing health. Mrs. Snyder was born the daughter of John and Mary Yount Franz and lived her entire life in the Anamosa vicinity. October 30, 1894 she married Frank Snyder of Anamosa who survives with their three children, Burdette of Cedar Rapids, Thomas of Anamosa and Mrs. Howe. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. George Erwin of Marion and Mrs. Frank Mason of Indiana, one brother, J.L. Franz, of Chicago and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held at two o'clock Sunday at the Smykil funeral home in Anamosa, in charge of the Rev. J.K. Delahooke of the Anamosa Methodist church. Burial was made in Oak Shade cemetery in Marion.
