Services for Frank Mason, 76, a retired insurance salesman who died at South Bend, Ind., last Friday, were held Monday morning at the Yocom chapel.
Born April 1, 1872, at Kellogg, Iowa, he married Margaret Franz of Marion here in 1908. She died in April of last year, and he has made his home in Newton since that time. He was visiting a son, Richard, in South Bend, at the time of his death.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Richard Goins and burial was in Oak Shade cemetery. Pallbearers were George Erwin, Jr., Thomas Snyder, Harold Howe and Leonard Hewitt.
Surviving are two sons, Richard of South Bend and Chester, of Newton; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
