John Stanley Little was born April 13th 1909, and died February 18th, 1919. He was a kind, loving and obedient child, whom to know was to love,
Not now but in the coming years,
It may be in the other land;
We'll read the meaning of our tears,
And there someday we'll understand.
He leaves to mourn his loss a mother and sister, Mildred and grandmother Mrs. W.C. Thompson and Uncle Geo. Thompson at home, besides many other relatives and friends. The funeral services were held at the family home on 8th Avenue and were conducted by Rev. T.M. Fenwick, pastor of the Free Methodist Church, and the remains laid to rest in Oak Shade cemetery.
