Lella M. Pflughaupt, 90, a lifelong resident of Linn county, died April 22, in a Marion care center, following a long illness. She was born the daughter of Joseph and Florilla Fishel Miles on April 20, 1889 at Robins. On Nov. 11, 1910 at Marion she was married to H.Lewis Pflughaupt, who died July 23, 1966. Mrs. Pflughaupt was a member of the United Methodist church.
Surviving are three sons, Carroll of Coggon and Glenn and Howard of Central City; 15 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. April 24 at the United Methodist church of Central City, conducted by Rev. Duane Manning. Interment was in Oak Shade Cemetery of Marion. Murdoch chapel in Central City had charge of the arrangements.
