Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. Rose E. Gray at her late home at 310 Seventh avenue west of pneumonia, at the age of 64 years, 4 months and 6 days. The deceased was born in Warren county, Illinois, October 7, 1844, and had been a resident of Marion for more than forty years. Her husband, Addison Gray, died five years ago in this city and she leaves to mourn her only two children, George, who has been living with his mother and caring for her in her last illness which has lasted for more than three months, and a daughter, Mrs. Robert Fox, also of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Hunter of Oregon.
The funeral services were held this morning at 10 o'clock in the Free Methodist church and which were conducted by Elder Warren C. Thompson. The interment took place in Oak Shade cemetery.
