Mrs. Margaret Belle Starks Munier, 52, wife of George Munier, died Wednesday at 4:05 p.m. in a Cedar Rapids hospital following a long illness. The daughter of Charles H. and Mary Ellen Neal Starks, she was born Feb. 4, 1889, at Tildon, Neb. She moved with her parents to Lisbon when she was a small girl, living there until her marriage to George Munier in 1907. Mr. and Mrs. Munier since their marrige have made their home on a farm near Marion.
Mrs. Munier was active in church and social affairs, being a member of the Presbyterian church, Marion Linn chapter of the D.A.R., the Four C's club and the Martin's Creek Community club.
She is survived by her husband, two sons and two daughters, Theodore Charles Munier, Mrs. Austin Coons, Harold George Munier, all of Marion, and Virginia Belle Munier, at home; three brothers, George Starks of Marion, Ralph Starks of Cedar Rapids, and Dell Starks of Waubeek; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Hoover of Beverly Hills, Calif.; Mrs. Charles Kruegar of South Pasadena, and Mrs. Sadie Strait of Center Point.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 at the Yocom chapel by the Rev. C.V.R. DeJong. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the Yocom chapel Thursday evening.
