--The death of Thos. B. Hutton occurred last Sunday morning, April 12, at 3:15, after an illness of only a week with pneumonia at the home of his son, Albert, on the J.C. Davis farm, west of the city. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternon at the home of his son, Albert, and were conducted by the Rev. W.A. Pratt, of Cedar Rapids. Music was furnished by a quartette [sic] consisting of Mrs. S.N. Parsons, Mrs. V.G. Shumack, E.J. Esgate and J.J. Booth. Interment in Oak Shade Cemetery. The deceased was in his eighty-first year and was born in England, coming to this country about eight years ago. He is survived by his wife and three sons, George, Percy and Albert, all of whom are residents of Marion, and two sons and one daughter, who still reside in England.
