Last rites for George L. Zinkula, 80, Mt. Vernon, father of Mrs. Quentin Robinson, Mechanicsville, were held at Solon Dec. 7 with burial at Solon. Mr. Zinkula died at a Cedar Rapids hospital Dec. 5.

Born March 1, 1891, near Mt. Vernon, Mr. Zinkula had farmed in that area all his life. He was married on Feb. 24, 1917 to Bessie Vislisel.

Surviving are his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Dean Kuntz of Martelle and Mrs. Robinson; 3 sons, Joseph, Robert and Raymond, all of Mt. Vernon; 20 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Ludwig, Lisbon.
