Miss Winnie Reamer, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Reamer was born on Christmas day in 1861, at their home in Jackson county. When she was a child her parents located in Linn county near Alice but for the last twenty years have lived in Marion. She confessed her faith in Christ during girlhood and was a member of the Alice congregation of the Evangelical church. She ministered much at home, caring for her mother, who passed away June 6, 1911, after years of poor health. She was a kind and loving daughter.
After a short illness she fell asleep on the evening of April 3, 1912, after a life of 50 years, 3 months and 18 days. She leaves to mourn her departure her aged father, one brother, besides other relatives and friends.
