Thomas A. Reamer died early Wednesday morning at Mercy hospital in Cedar Rapids. He was born October 26, 1884 [sic], at Cedar Rapids, the son of James and Nellie Kelly Garley, and at the age of two years was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Reamer. He was married June 23, 1930, to Mae Ralston Lindley at Iowa City, who survives together with his foster brothers, Howard Reamer of Washington state, Mark Reamer of North Dakota, a foster sister, Mrs. Emma Stimety of Carson, N.D., a step-son Waldo L. Lindley, of Clinton, Iowa, and his mother, Mrs. Howard Reamer of Cedar Rapids. He was a machinist by trade, and lived his entire life in Cedar Rapids and vicinity. He was a Spanish American war veteran. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Yocom chapel in Marion, with the Rev. Frank Ward, of Sunshine Mission, in charge of the services.
