Mrs. Charles F. Maier, 70, a lifelong resident of Linn county, died Monday at 3:30 p.m. at her home, three and one-half miles southwest of Alburnett.
Born Ida Mae Miche, Nov. 4, 1882, on a farm north of Marion, the daughter of J.B. and Eugenie Munier Michel, she was graduated from Marion high school in 1902. She was married Oct. 8, 1907, at Storm Lake. Shew was a member of the Marion Presbyterian church; and of Marion chapter 183, O.E.S.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Johnson, Chadron, Neb., and Mrs. Geneveive Hanson, Littleton, Colo.; four grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Emma Albright of Marion.
Services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Murdoch chapel, Marion, by the Rev. C.V.R. DeJong. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel
