Death of James Alexander
James Alexander, an old and respected resident of Linn county, died yesterday afternoon at his home north of Marion, after a long illness. The deceased was 72 years old and has resided in this county for nearly half a century. His wife and four children survive him, three sons, Wm. R. of near Marion, Nathan, of Toddville, and Chas of Marion: one daughter, Mrs. Jos. Cunningham of St. Paul. The funeral will be held in Marion Wednesday at 2:30 o'clock.
