Death of Mrs. Alexander
Lenora Reynolds Alexander, 81, died Sunday in St. Paul, where for some time she has been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Ira Cunningham. The deceased was born in Otter Creek township, Linn county, in 1846, and has resided on the farm in various parts of the county most of her life. Her husband, James Alexander, who preceded his [sic] in death 18 years, at one time owned a farm near Walker and another near Alburnett. Besides the daughter, Mrs. Cunningham, she is survived by three sons, Wm. R. of near Marion; Nathaniel of Marion township, and Charles, of St. Paul. She is also survived by a brother, David Reynolds of Marion and Mrs. Baumgartner of Nebraska.
The body was brought here Tuesday and funeral was held at the Baptist church, with Rev. W.J. Robinson in charge. Burial was made in Oak Shade cemetery.
