Marion - Funeral services were held at Turner's Funeral Home, August 2, for Louis Harris, 64, Marion.

Mr. Harris is the father of Mrs. Garold Kurth and Mrs. Glenn Kurth, both of Mechanicsville.

Harris was born in Linn County on March 30, 1901. He was married to Hazel Brown on August 6, 1925.

Mr. Harris was a retired employee of Iowa Steel, Cedar Rapids, and was currently employed at Reliable Mfg. Co.

He is survived by his wife, mother, Mrs. Laurie Harris, Marion; a sister, Audrey Minor, Marion; a son, Richard D. Harris, Cedar Rapids; and four daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Betty) Kurth and Mrs. Garold (Wanita) Kurth, both of Mechanicsville; Mrs. Tom (Naomi) Meeks, Marion, and Mrs. Don (Bonnie) Hopkins, Toddville.

Burial was in Cedar Memorial Cemetery.
