Lisbon - Services were held Monday in Morgan Funeral home for Harry Dorcas, 78, a longtime resident of this community, with Rev. Omar Pettersen, officiating. Mr. Dorcas died unexpectedly June 11.

Harry Logan Dorcas, youngest son of Edward and Mary Roe Dorcas, was born Nov. 1, 1886 near Tipton.

When he was 5 months old he moved with his parents to a farm near Lisbon. He was married to Cora Andre on Nov. 24, 1909 and in the spring of 1912 moved to the farm where he spent the rest of his life.

He is survived by his wife, 3 daughters, Mrs. Carl (LaVerne) Sieveka, Center Junction; Mrs. Luella Conner, Mt. Vernon and Mrs. James (Lorena) Gray, Mechanicsville and a son, Harry, on the home place near Lisbon.

Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Interment was in the Lisbon Cemetery, Morgan Funeral Home in charge.
