Mrs. Alfred Gaskill 1894 – 1974

Charlott K. Gaskill, 80 of 1117 Third street SW, widow of Alfred F. Gaskill, died early Thursday after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 21, 1894, in Milwaukee, Wis., and been a resident of Cedar Rapids since 1909.

Mrs. Gaskill was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic church, American Legion auxiliary and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving are a son, Neal Gaskill, Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Walter Moscrip; two brothers Walter and Clarence Knoebel, Cedar Rapids. Services: Saturday at 9 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic church by the Rev. Martin Laughlin. Burial: St. John’s Catholic cemetery. Wake service: Friday 7:30 pm Janeba-Kuba funeral home west where friends may call after 7 pm Thursday.
