Services Monday for C. W. Schmickle, 89
Center Point—C. W. “Billy” Schmickle, 89, a resident of the Lafayette community for 80 years, died Saturday. He was a retired farmer.
A native of Germany, he came to the U.S. when 2 years old.
Survivors include his wife, the former Elizabeth Notbohm, 2 daughters, Mrs. Spencer Stephenson, Center Point; Mrs. Ray Whipple, Alburnett, a sister, Mrs. Will Kress, Rowley.
Services: Monday, 3:30, Christian church, Lafayette. Friends may call at Murdoch’s in Center Point after 1 p.m. today.
