Donald James Maudsley, 64, a former Cedar Rapids resident, died Sat, at a Knoxville Hospital following a brief illness.
Born 28 Jun 1916, at Cedar Rapids, he had been a Knoxville resident the last six years. He was a expediter for Iowa Manufacturing for 26 years and served in the Army during WW II.
Surviving are two daughter, Carol Hansen of Marion and Sharon Peterson of Cedar Rapids; one son, Dennis of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Bill and Eugene, both of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Margaret Perkins and Maurine Murphy, both of Cedar Rapids; and 6 grandchildren.
Services at 10:30 am Tues at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories by the Rev. Edward W. Smith of the Bible Missionary Chruch of Iowa City. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cem. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home after 4 pm today and at the chapel after 9 am Tues. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetic Research Fund at the University of Iowa, Iowa City.
