ARMAND MARTIN OR ARMOND MARTIN

Armond (or Armand) Martin, a veteran of the War of 1812, died in 1861 in West Point, Iowa. Armand was a Captain of a Erie, Pennsylvania militia unit. His daughter Emily, along with her husband Joseph G. Wilson are buried in the West Point Cemetery. It is believed that Capt Martin's gravesite is one of approximately 15 unmarked graves in the West Point cemetery.
