I am looking for information about John Marsch/ Marsh and his wife Jane (Martin) Marsh. I have a copy of their Marriage record they were married in 1856 in Ft. Madison. They have 2 daughters, Elizabeth and Emma. He was a carriage maker, Merchant, farmer. They apparently lived in Ft. Madison until after the Civil War then when John returned they apparently went to Keokuk but left there before 1870 because they are listed in the 1870 census in Trenton, Mo. I would Like to know if there is record of John's enlistment. and when did he return? Also, I have Jane's death certificate and it states that she had 4 children 2 living. I would like to know the vitals on these other 2 children if possible. They were not listed in either the 1860 nor1870 census'.
