I think there is record of the Lance family --Samuel & Marie L. Allard Lance and daughter, Sophia -- belonged to the LDS congregation in Lee County ("Zarahemla" 1839??). Does anyone know what records there might be on a family in that time/location? I'm hoping for clues to the origin of Sophia's husband, Samuel Jewett (or any details on the Lance family).
