Seeking information on and Decedents of Abraham Gray. Abraham was born June 10 1849 and drowned in the Mississippi River near Montrose Iowa on July 5 1912.
Abraham was married several times first to Christina Ware , Mary A Stone there was one child born to Abraham and Mary a son George born in 1874 then wife Alice Abraham was living in Clark County Mo. in 1891 near Warterloo where he met Alice Holmes they were married in Kahoka Mo on Oct,7th 1891. they had a daughter Josie l. and possible a son but not sure of that.
Abraham's obituary states he was survived by his wife and daughter Mrs. Howard. Abrahams obituary has him buried in the Montrose Iowa Cemetery but in checking with the cemetery they have no record of the burial. I have been told that Abraham's brother came from Putman County Mo. to get his brother and take him back there but I have no prove of that either. I would be thankful for any help with this.
