Thanks, Thomas. I have seen photos of their graves. I am most interested to find out about the VETERAN STAR on a post next to William's stone. I think it is called a flag holder. This would be Pre-Civil War if it really belongs to him. And if he was a vet he should have been buried in the Veterans Cemetery......unless he died too early for that. I would love to have a close-up of that star. Sometimes the markings at the points give hints about the branch of service. Thanks again.
