I'm trying to find information Henry PARKER b abt 1797 England. I first find him in Montrose on the 1850 census with daughter Sophia b abt 1830 England. By 1860 Sophia has married a Samuel Goble/Dobble (marriage is listed under this name.) Samuel is listed as head of household and Henry is living with them listed as gentleman. 1870 Sophia has passed away and Samuel is remarried and living in Des Moines Co. Henry is living with the Frederick Parks family who were neighbors since 1850. 1880 Henry is living with Parks family still, but Frederick has passed away. I have not checked the 1885 State census if there is one. I believe Henry and Sophia both passed away in Montrose, but can't find where they are Henry. Frederick Parks and wife are in a cemetery near the damn. I believe that most likely Henry may be under the damn, since no one from the family knew anything of his existence before the damn was built. It's only been the last few years that I've discovered he existed. Any help in locating information on Henry or Sophia would be greatly appreciated.
