According to LDS records, Henry King Love was born about 1862 in Keokuk, Lee County, Iowa. His parents were James Madison Love and Mary Pearce, or Pierce Thomasson.
Henry later was a vice counsulate to the Philippines around the turn of the century. There he met and married Josepine Maud Chase in 1901, who was a government teacher.
Later they resided in Washington D.C., where they are found with their children in the 1920 census.
I don't know what their tie was to the area. Perhaps they only lived there a short time.
I would like to know what became of this family.
