I am looking for information on Thomas Ruby. According to info i have recieved, Thomas was the pilot of the second "Davenport" and in 1868 he was pilot of the "James Lyon". I know that the James Lyon was once owned by Capt Shannon of Le Calire and Capt. Homer Sheldon Ruby. Thomas is reportedly living in Burlington, Iowa. I have to assume he is related to my Ruby ancestors, Jerome, Oscar Homer Sheldon, and Pery Ruby. Thanks for any help Georgeann McClure
