Bernard Pieper

WEST POINT - Bernard Pieper, 76, West Point, died at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, at his home here. He had been in ailing health.

The son of Fritz and Mary Toelle Pieper, he was born in West Point, January 19, 1898. He was never married.

Mr. Pieper was a lifelong resident of West Point. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic church.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Dan Booneville, West Point, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, April 5 in St. Mary's church. The Rev. Francis Lenoch will officiate. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery. The rosary will be recited at the Link Funeral home at 8 p.m., Thursday, April 4 by the parish.
